Sequences (2005 – 2007)

I decided on the title "Sequences" for the paintings after 2005. They reflect short sequences of the perception of movement. They are not high definition, their abstraction leaves room for one's own perception. They resemble recollections of snapshots of the memory and they are, in the broadest sense, abstract landscapes. To me, they are images of energy, whereby the energies expressed alternate between soft, meditative and very powerful.
